Kapatagan Digos City, Davao del Sur Adventure

It was the first time I set foot to Davao. After work on June 8, 2013 I never get some sleep and went directly to the airport because my flight was 4:55AM. Fortunately, the flight was not delayed because normally Cebu Pacific is often delayed. I slept throughout the flight and we arrived at Davao International Airport at 7:15AM. From there I took FX going to Ecoland and the driver asked me 250.00 pesos. The driver was very helpful and kind enough, he kept on talking to entertain me. From Ecoland Bus Station I took a Bus going to Digos City, the fair was 65.00 pesos including a bottle of water and I was so fascinated because the people are so friendly and helpful. From Digos City I took a trycycle going to Kapatagan Terminal, the fair was 8:00 pesos. From there I've ridden a motorcycle going to Kapatagan, the driver asked me 100.00 pesos. It was an experience that I will  never forget. It took me more than 2 hours ride with a long winding rough rugged road, some are under repair, alternately with aspalt and some shallow cemented areas. At last I arrived at I think 10:30 AM, and my friend Riza was already there to fetch when I arrived. I thought my journey is over but to my surprise we have to ride another motorcycle AGAIN going to their place and it took us more than 30 minutes to a long and winding rough rugged road, sometimes no road at all just a plain soil going to Barangay Marawer.

Eventhough my butt was already painful plus my backpack was quite heavy, Still I enjoyed the beautiful scenery, the magical landscapes and the enchanting atmossphere. At last, It's exhilarating breathing again a pure and fresh air away from the polluted air of Manila.

Taaaadannnnnn .... Here we go.....! :)

My friend place is close proximity to Mount Apo.
My friends and their tomatoes plantation. Yes, The primary livelihood of people's here is vegetable cultivation, coffee farming, banana plantation and tourism.

We found this bird nest! Adorable, isn't it? :) A delightful sight to see and a cool experience.
These are wild strawberry I found these near the bird nest. It has an unexplainable taste. When I tasted it, it taste a little sour, little sweet and bitter. Ughhh!
My 19y/o friend Riza & I.

Durian Tree. Finally I'm human because I have eaten durian and saw the tree. :D
Woodland Resort, the water here is from deep well, this is one of popular destinations in Kapatagan.
@Camp Sabros an adventure camp and a mountain resort, we dared the 400 meters zip lines called "Slide for Life" at 180 feet above the ground. Below the zip lines are the striking luxuriant greenery tall pine trees.
Cute & humble home, mostly the houses are like this there in Marawer Kapatagan but people are happy, kind hearted and generous.
A flower look like a Christmas tree.
Ok, EMO time. I was just soooo tired after a very long walk that took us 45 minutes.

Carrots plantation.
Going to Riza's cousin and gesshhh I have to crawl because there's no other way.
Rachel and Maricel, the sisters of Riza and they are very considerate waiting for me.
Wow, Perfect shot courtesy of Maricel. This is a Carabao the national animal of the Philippines.
Ok! Using the nature as my photo prop. :) Sorry wild flower, I didn't mean to disrespect you.

I asked this girl if I could take her a photo but my bad because I forgot to ask her name.
